Irish Nation Newsletter - 04.04.25

Posted Date: 4/04/25 (10:47 PM)

Sheldon families,

Please find a moment to read our Irish Nation Newsletter updated with important information. As we approach the next two weeks, we want to ensure that all students and families are aware of upcoming schedule changes. An email was sent home earlier today with a schedule. Please make sure to watch the website and follow the Sheldon Instagram and Facebook pages for information!

Senior items are updated on the Sheldon website. The Senior Checklist can be found on the front page "slider" and under the Student tab. Miners will be passing out cap/gown and announcements on Wednesday, April 9 and the parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 10. Both events are on the Sheldon calendar and also mentioned in the Senior Checklist. Please make sure to be there to hear important news about graduation and how to obtain tickets to graduation. At this point, no ticket information is being released. A cap and gown are required for all seniors who plan to walk at graduation. Please contact Miners if you still need to order.

Please be sure to report any absences or appointments first thing in the morning. This helps us make sure the Attendance office can enter the information right away and get the note to your student in class before it's time for dismissal. You’ll find the QR code and Attendance Reporting Form at the top of the newsletter for easy access. You will also find key information for hazardous weather inside. As always, if your child is feeling unwell, please keep them home to rest and recover. You’ll also find helpful information from the ODE and our Sheldon nurse included in the newsletter.

Additionally, our 2024-25 A/B schedule, monthly advisory classes, and daily bells schedules have been added to the top of the newsletter for quick reference. April has a "C Day" and a "1/2 Day" for testing. Be sure to follow the calendar provided in the newsletter.

Have a wonderful weekend!
