Mission Statement:
Students exit school services with the knowledge, skills, and support to live, work, and participate in their community as autonomously as possible.
Program Description:
TEN, located at Sheldon High School and Fountain Villa Apartments, is a creative program that provides individualized instruction and opportunities to students with cognitive disabilities who have educational needs that include a high level of staff support and a focus on functional skills. The program is a national model and maximizes students’ potential in educational, social, vocational, recreational, and community living skills areas. TEN has classrooms at Sheldon High School, a number of local businesses, and an apartment complex so that students may learn vocational and community living skills.
