Eugene 4J Work Study
Work Study Positions for 2025/2026 School Year:
- A number of Work Study positions will be available to current Sheldon students at the following schools:
- Sheldon HS (tentative)
- Elementary Schools: Buena Vista, Gilham, Holt, Willagillespie
- Middle Schools: Cal Young, Monroe
- The number of openings for 25/26 will depend on available funds, which may not be finalized until September

- Work Study consists of paid positions while also receiving credit. Students work an average of 10 hours a week
- Part of the application process is checking your GPA and attendance record
- Some duties may consist of, but are not limited to: welcoming incoming visitors / staff / students, helping substitutes, answering phones, delivering notes, mailroom management, stocking supplies, financial & monetary tasks, bus pass assignment, computer ticket help, using MS Office, Google Workspace, and Canva for projects
- Students need to be available for 2 consecutive periods
- Interviews will occur in September and students will begin work right away!

They can also contact 541-346-4330, and they will be contacted in a timely manner. The hourly rate is $13.25. All positions are on the UO campus in different buildings and areas. Hours can be flexible to match availability as long as they meet operational needs. The work is in with our Dining unit and includes cleaning and basic tasks. Students would not operate any heavy machinery, cutting / slicing equipment.
