- Hey Irish, We have had a request from our community members to remind everyone about traffic safety in front of our school. Please remember to cross only at the designated crosswalks and only when the signal allows. Cars can’t always see you in time and running across Willagillespie can be dangerous. Also, for our student drivers, remember that when the light is red next to Market of Choice, you need to wait until it turns green before proceeding through the crosswalk light. Remember the ROSE, even outside our walls, and show our neighbors that we are thoughtful members of our Sheldon community.
- We will have a tea club today during lunch in room A-7, Ms Morrison's room, and we will have tea and hot chocolate to share. See you then!
- This upcoming Tuesday (1/27), the SheldonSTRONG Mental Health Club will meet in Ms. Perdue's Choir Room F3 at lunch. Our goal is to find helpful ways to deal with anxiety. We hope you will join us. Bring your lunch. We'll have some Papa's Pizza available as well.
- Sheldon DECA, will meet Monday (1/26) at lunch in A6 - Mr. Phillipo's Room. If you are interested in a career in business, you'll want to be there.
- The Gender and Sexuality Alliance meets on Tuesdays at lunch in room F-6. GSA provides a safe space for LGBTQIA2+ students and allies to come together, engage in discussions and activities, such as games or crafts, learn about queer history, and build community.
- Sheldon, come to the Divergence and Disability Alliance, our club meets every Monday in B-8, which is Dr. Clementi’s classroom. Every week, we share a meal and support strategies for students who are both neurodivergent and disabled. Stop by and learn how to help support yourself and your peers. Lunch is provided. See you Monday in B-8!
- If you have not yet pre-ordered a yearbook, you have until the end of January to do so. You may pay in person at the finance office or online through SchoolPay.
- APISU, Asian and Pacific Islander Student Union, is having a meeting on Monday, January 29 during lunch in C7 to watch "Spirited Away". Also, if you are going to the Lunar New Year Event on February 4, you need to pick up a permission form from C7 ASAP.
- The After School Tutoring Program in partnership with NHS will be sponsoring an end of the semester study session Tuesday, January 27th in the Library. This is available to all students with the hope that they can study for final exams, finish any projects, and complete assignments. We will be providing hot chocolate, cookies, and tutoring. If you could benefit from some extra study time, please attend.
