- Remember, our cell phone policy: “Off and Away all Day!” Thanks for all of your help with our new policy; most students are doing well with it! Today we begin phase two and three to comply with the Governor’s order. If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it will be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day. With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned and or leave it in the front office for the day.
- We have received many questions about earbuds and headphones, so we want to clarify expectations. The only headphones that may be used during the school day are those that are wired directly to a school-issued device (laptop). Even then, students must have teacher permission to use them during class. Bluetooth earbuds or wireless headphones are not allowed at school. These devices cannot connect to school-issued equipment and therefore do not meet district policy or state guidelines. Because of this, any Bluetooth earbuds or wireless headphones are considered Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs). If a student is using them during the school day, the device they are connected to—and/or the earbuds themselves—may be confiscated by staff in accordance with the policy. Thank you for helping us maintain a focused, distraction-free learning environment.
- If you are interested in being a part of the Sheldon Track & Field team this spring the team is starting winter workouts for January & February. The team meets in the weight room on Monday, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 3:45 pm, after school. It is a great way to get in shape early & meet teammates. You are encouraged to stop in and meet the coaches and ask any questions you may have about the program.
- We’re looking for players to join the Boys Tennis Team for the upcoming 2026 season. Open to all levels — although experience in tennis or other sports is a great starting point. Tennis is the subtle art of blending power, control, and grace — one of the most mentally and physically complex sports there is. If you enjoy problem-solving, competition, and working together towards a common goal, we’d love to see you on the court. Come meet Coach Hudson TODAY Wednesday, the 14th, in Room C-9 during lunch, and see if you want to be part of building something special

- Sheldon Theatre is back at it with Drama 2's rendition of Thornton Wilder's eternal classic, Our Town. Set in a small New Hampshire town at the dawn of the twentieth century, Our Town's three acts show us the vibrancy of an ordinary day, the ritualistic power of a wedding, and the cosmic questions of life that persist beyond the grave. Shows run one weekend only: Friday the 23rd at 7, Saturday the 24th at 7, and a Sunday matinee at 1pm. Join us as we celebrate being human.
- Come to New York Times Gaming Club in Ms. Suzie's class, C-10, Wednesday during lunch for Wordle and connections. We will be collaborating on Wordle unlimited and connections unlimited. Come for fun games and great community. We will have snacks.
