- APISU, Asian and Pacific Islander Student Union, is having a meeting on Monday, September 29 during lunch in C7. We will have a special guest speaker to learn about the rights we have as people living and working in the U.S. All students are welcome!
- BSU meets Thursday at lunch in B29 mr. Summerfield's classroom. Join us to talk about future planning and Black History month. All students are welcome regardless of ethnicity.
- Native American Student Union will be meeting tomorrow in room B28A during lunch. Anyone is welcome!
- Calling all theatre kids! On Thursday September 25th, meet us in the little theatre at lunch for our start of the year kickoff meeting! Meet your brand new theatre council, learn about the upcoming show season, and hang out with us!
- We have a new Business Club called Sheldon DECA. If you are interested in pursuing a career in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or Entrepreneurship, come to our first meeting this Tuesday (9/30) at lunch in A6 - Mr. Phillipo's Room.
- Today is the day! Come to the College and Career Center in A-1 right after school at 3:30 to meet with Willamette University's Assistant Director of Admissions! Get your questions answered about admissions, programs, scholarships and MORE! See you later today!
- Sheldon’s Women in STEM Club is back! Come for snacks, a fun activity, and a chance to meet awesome people who love science, tech, engineering, and math. Everyone’s welcome so grab a friend and stop by today in room B5 during Lunch.
- Interested in joining the Dance Team? Now is your chance to "Try It Out"! The Sheldon Colleens are hosting two upcoming open practices on 10/19 and 10/10 from 4:15 - 6:15pm in the SHS Dance Studio. Come to one or both practices to see if the dance team is right for you! (You must have a sports physical on file in order to fully participate.) Questions? Ask a current Colleen! We hope to see you there!
- Did you know that Sheldon has a Speech and Debate Team? Are you interested in joining the team or getting more information? Join us on Monday at 4pm in Room B22 after school. For more details, see Mr Neeno. Hope to see you there!
- For community service experience come to Interact Club in classroom B-14 at lunch on Thursdays!
- Did you know? The Quinceañera is a traditional celebration in many Latin American cultures that marks a young woman’s transition from childhood to adulthood at the age of 15. Rooted in history and rich with meaning, it’s a beautiful blend of family, culture, and community.We’re excited to share that one of our own students, Camila, has a stunning Quinceañera dress on display in the school! Be sure to check it out. And don’t miss the Quinceañera Runway Show during our Hispanic Heritage Assembly on October 16th—you won’t want to miss this celebration of culture and tradition!
