Sheldon Weekly Update
Dear Friends and Families of Sheldon High School,
At Sheldon High School, we are deeply committed to creating an environment where every student can focus on learning and achieve their full potential. Ensuring that all students have access to essential resources is fundamental to their success, which is why we offer programs that provide necessities such as food, clothing, hygiene products, school supplies, laundry facilities, and mental health support. While these services are crucial, they fall outside of our regular school budget.
Oregon school funding has improved in recent years, yet district contributions do not fully meet Sheldon's unique needs. Some students struggle to perform at their best because basic needs are unmet, but together, we can change that. Now is the time for the Sheldon community to unite in support of these vital student programs through our Direct Donation Drive. Sheldon has always been a place where students thrive due to the generosity of families, friends, and alumni, and we hope you’ll join us in continuing this legacy through this year's fundraising campaign.
Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 to sustain these important resources. If each family contributes just $10 per student, we can reach our goal; however, we understand each family has unique financial circumstances, so please give at a level that feels right for you. Donations of all sizes—whether $1, $10, $100, or more—bring us closer to our target. Contributions are tax-deductible and can be made directly through our website: https://www.schoolpay.com/link/SHS-school-donations.
We know many causes deserve your support, and we hope you see the value in helping Sheldon students thrive. Schools play a crucial role in our children’s lives, and our student-centered programs are part of what makes Sheldon so special. Please consider making a donation to help us continue to support all students.
Thank you for your generosity and commitment to Sheldon High School.
Respectfully,
Mike Ingman
