• Remember, our cell phone and Personal Electronic Device policy:  “Off and Away all Day!”  That means any time you are on campus during the school day - even during breaks, when you are in the halls, in the front office or counseling center, or during lunch!  Thanks for all of your help with this policy;  If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it can be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day.  With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned and or leave it in the front office for the day. Remember the SHS ROSE - be Respectful of Others, yourSelf, and your Environment. 
• Fun Fact for Hispanic Heritage Month:  September 15 honors the independence anniversaries of several Latin American nations, followed shortly by Mexico and Chile. It began as a week in 1968 under President Johnson and became a month-long observance in 1988 under President Reagan. 

• After school tutoring is today in the library from 3:45 to 4:45. Come by to get some work done, get help, and maybe win a pizza. 
• BATTERS UP! Ready to step up to the plate? Our baseball meeting is happening Thursday the 24th during lunch in C-9 in the  Lecture Hall! Come meet the team, talk baseball, and get ready to knock it out of the park! See you there - let’s play ball!
• It's back! A quinceñera runway will again be featured in our Hispanic Heritage Assembly in October. Please see Ms. Albrich in B15 if you're interested in participating. Practice starts soon! 
• Women in STEM meets this Thursday at lunch in B10 - Everyone is welcome to join for activities, crafts, snacks, and a good time! Bring a friend, come learn about STEM 
• Starting on Friday, Sheldon's Native American Student Union is meeting each week on Monday's and Friday's during lunch in Miss Jackson's classroom room B28-A. All are welcome!
• Guess what? Jewish Student Union actually exists! And it will be meeting this today in C2 during lunch. We will be learning about the culture, playing some games, and eating some snacks. Everyone is welcome! 
• Come to the 1st meeting of the Sheldon Feminist Student Union today  in Mr. Whalley's room S-3. 

There will be pizza, snacks and crafting.

• Starting on Friday, Sheldon's Native American Student Union is meeting each week on Monday's and Friday's during lunch in Miss Jackson's classroom room B28-A. All are welcome!
• It's back and better than ever! Join Spanish Club at its first meeting of the new school year this Friday, September 25, during lunch in room B15. Everyone is welcome, and snacks will be provided.  
• FOOD!? VOLUNTEER HOURS!? Maybe some CRAFTS and GAMES?!?! Save your friends a seat THIS THURSDAY in room B14 for Interact Club. It’s the best lunchtime club to join. We BETTER see you there.
