• Remember, our cell phone and Personal Electronic Device policy:  “Off and Away all Day!”  That means any time you are on campus during the school day - even during breaks, when you are in the halls, in the front office or counseling center, or during lunch!  Thanks for all of your help with this policy;  If your phone or Personal Electronic Device is out, it can be confiscated and brought to the front office where it can be picked up at the end of the day.  With multiple infractions, you will need a meeting with parent or guardian prior to the device being returned and or leave it in the front office for the day. Remember the SHS ROSE - be Respectful of Others, yourSelf, and your Environment. 
• Fun Fact for Hispanic Heritage Month:  Family (la familia) is the core of Hispanic culture, often extending past parents and siblings to grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who live close by or in the same home. 

• Are you looking for a kind and fun group of people? Do you need community service hours? Key Club is an amazing opportunity to gain service hours and meet new people! We met today during lunch in room C9. Stop by to learn more about our club, make some friends, and eat some delicious snacks.
• After school tutoring is today in the library from 3:45 to 4:45. Come by to get some work done, get help, and maybe win a pizza. 
• BATTERS UP! Ready to step up to the plate? Our baseball meeting is happening Thursday the 24th during lunch in C-9 in the  Lecture Hall! Come meet the team, talk baseball, and get ready to knock it out of the park! See you there - let’s play ball!
• The last day to ADD new classes to your schedule is Tuesday, September 22nd! Tuesday is also the deadline to drop a class without a Drop Form. Starting on Wednesday, September 23rd, Class Drop forms will be required when dropping a class. See your school counselor for assistance.
• It's back! A quinceñera runway will again be featured in our Hispanic Heritage Assembly in October. Please see Ms. Albrich in B15 if you're interested in participating. Practice starts soon! 
• Women in STEM meets this Thursday at lunch in B10 - Everyone is welcome to join for activities, crafts, snacks, and a good time! Bring a friend, come learn about STEM 
• Starting on Friday, Sheldon's Native American Student Union is meeting each week on Monday's and Friday's during lunch in Miss Jackson's classroom room B28-A. All are welcome!
• Guess what? Jewish Student Union actually exists! And it will be meeting this Wednesday the 23rd in C2 during lunch. We will be learning about the culture, playing some games, and eating some snacks. Everyone is welcome! 
• Come to the 1st meeting of the Sheldon Feminist Student Union this Wednesday, Sept 23rd in Mr. Whalley's room S-3. 

There will be pizza, snacks and crafting.

• Sheldon’s Gender and Sexuality Alliance or GSA meets today at lunch in Art room F6. Eat popcorn, meet your new leaders and build comunity. Speaking of leaders GSA is looking for 1 or 2 more people to step into leadership roles for the 2026-2027 school year! See you today.
