Sheldon, we need your blood! Come to the front office and sign up for the 11/21 blood drive. Time slots are available from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Every applicant will receive candy, but the first 30 applicants get full-sized bars. After you’ve signed up, please see Julia in the finance office to claim your candy!

Sheldon Theatre’s fall show Jack the Ripper: Monster of Whitechapel is still running. This is the classic true story of Jack the Ripper, infamous serial killer in London in the 1880’s.  Performances are this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults. The box office opens one hour before curtain time. See you there!

Winter sports begins today! Registrations must be complete to participate. Please visit the Sheldon Athletics webpage and search your team for information or stop by the athletics office.

If you are planning to try out for basketball, 9th grade boys’ tryouts will be held in the upper gym from 6pm-8pm. 10-12th grade boys’ tryouts will be held in the main gym from 4pm-6pm. 9th grade girls’ tryouts will be held in the upper gym from 4-6pm and 10-12th grade girls’ tryouts will be held in the main gym from 6-8pm.

There will be a short informational meeting for the 2020 Track & Field Season on Wednesday November 20th during lunch in Coach Phillipo’s room in A-4. Please stop by and learn about winter track and the spring season.

9th graders if you have a schedule correction or are missing a class please schedule an appointment with Christie Enders at the computer in the front office or online through the Sheldon website.

Do you like video games? Do you like competition? If you said yes to either of these, then come to G-2 on Thursday, November 21 during lunch to learn more about the E-sports club, where you can compete nationally against other students in an array of all sorts of games such as Fortnight, Rainbow Six Siege, and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Where you will fight for scholarship money, and other prizes, don’t miss it!

Have you worn your dress or outfit since homecoming or prom? If not, you should donate to the formal wear drive happening this week, November 18th- 22nd! Donate your gently used dresses or formal wear to the bins near the front office or by our clothing rack!
