- The Sheldon Feminist Union is hosting our first meeting of the year today in S-3 (Mr. Whalley’s room). Come on by and support women’s rights, eat some snacks and conspire with us to subvert the patriarchy
- Sheldon’s own Asian American Pacific Islander Union is meetingthis Thursday in room C4 during lunch. They will be making a Korean summer dessert called hwachae (hwa-che) and everyone is welcome!
- Kick off the the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month with LSU, Sheldon’s Latine Student Union, at our first meeting of the new school year,this Thursday, September 14, during lunch in room B15. We’ll be discussing plans for the year and playing lotería. Snacks provided! Bring your friends and join us!
- The Homecoming Dance, “On the Red Carpet,” is Saturday, September 30th, from 8-11pm, in the Sheldon Courtyard. Tickets are available outside the Main Office before school, at lunch, and after school starting Monday, September 18th, through Friday, September 29th, or until sold out. 800 tickets are available for Sheldon students and 50 are available for guests. Tickets are $15 each. Guest passes are available in the Main Office and due back Thursday, September 28th, by 1pm; remember – only 50 guest passes are available.
- Dungeons & Dragons club will be meeting after school onThursday in room C-9 from 3:30 to 4:30. This is a meeting for anyone interested in creating characters, joining a party, or even just learning how to play.
- Interact Club will be meetingthis Thursday, September 14 in Room B-14. Come to find out about our service projects and for free pizza!
