One of the best ways to stop the spread of bacteria and infection is by hand washing. Make sure to wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds – Just enough time to sing your ABC’s!
The 17th Annual (and possibly the last) Luck o’ the Irish Concert is tomorrow, March 10th, at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. Come and hear not only some great Irish music, but also hear the history behind the songs. Why is it important to wear green? Come find out!! There’s no charge for this concert, so bring your friends and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day a week early!
Seniors! The Emerald Empire Kiwanis Club Scholarship is due, tomorrow March 10th!!! This is a wonderful opportunity for a high school senior in Lane County! Applications are due to the career center by the end of the day, Tuesday. We also have several other private scholarships in the career center! Come check them out!!!

A reminder to all baseball and softball players; your baseball bags and bats need to be stored in a locker room, a class room, or your car during the school day. Bats are not allowed to be carried in your backpack during the school day.
The yearbook staff is hard at work completing your book and needs your photos of travel you have taken this year, both in the U.S. and foreign. Be sure and purchase a yearbook before spring break for $65.00. Yearbooks will not be sold after April, until they have arrived for distribution, and only if there are books available at a cost of $75.00. Don’t miss out!
Hello Spring! Yes it’s true, Spring IS coming – so we need you to return all of your winter term textbooks this week! If you have any classes that are continuing spring term, you can go ahead and keep those, but you will need to get them renewed at the textbook window. Turning in your books on time allows others to have the books that they will need for THEIR spring term classes!
Congratulations to our women basketball team! They will be traveling to Portland to the state playoffs on Wednesday for an 8:15pm game. Come cheer on our team! Need a ride? We will be providing a Rooter bus to and from the event. The cost is $10.00 which includes the transportation fee and admission. Pick up a permission slip in the main office.
