A group of students is holding a toy drive here at Sheldon. They are looking for sterile, store bought stuffed animals, art supplies, jewelry, journals, action figures, etc. All items will be donated to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital and the Portland Ronald McDonald house charity. You can donate items today, tomorrow and all of next week in the toy bin next to the textbook window.
Hello Sheldon students! Do you play sports, participate in clubs, or work after school? If so, please send photos of yourself participating in any afterschool activity to the Sheldon Lifestyle Instagram page! There are bright pink flyers around the school with the account username, and you can always ask the front office for more information!
Buy your yearbook this week before the price increases. Yearbooks are $55 now and will increase to $65 after winter break.
Just a reminder that students are not to be in vehicles on school grounds during classes or during school hours. Thank You!

Sheldon. There is this dilemma about the Cans and Bottles recycling. Many of you have either misplaced the wrong items in the Cans and Bottles bins such as paper and trash or you have carelessly put them there. All the trash is sorted and divided into recyclable and non-recyclable items at the recycling center. If one trash item ends up in a bundle of recycled items, the entire bundle goes to the trash. If we continue to fail at recycling correctly, Sanipac, our local trash disposal company, may terminate our recycling privileges. Let’s be responsible and put trash and recyclables where they should be.
