The giving tree has begun. Across from the office we have set up a tree in order to collect items for those who need it during the holidays. Stop by the tree before school, during lunch, or after school to collect a tag to provide a gift for someone in need! All tags are equivalent to $20 gifts. And just to let everyone know, the giving tree is a class competition. The class that collects the most tags AND returns the gifts receives pizza!
Eugene’s PERIOD chapter and Women’s Advocacy Group is having a menstrual products drive! So far, the following teachers have boxes in their classrooms to collect donations of unopened pads and tampons: Wenrich, Albrich, Bowden, Hettick, Whalley, and Harley/Saraceno. Bins are also located across from the main office and in the science wing! See the flyers and posters around school for more details.
